By downloading or using the Cliptic app you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. The service
Cliptic is an app that lets you edit video on your device. Some features (e.g. AI captions) require an internet connection and a server-side service; we may change or discontinue these services without prior notice.
2. Responsibility for content
You are solely responsible for all video, audio, images and text you process in the app. You agree to use only content you own or are licensed to use. You agree not to create content that infringes copyright, is unlawful, or violates the rights of others.
3. Prohibited use
- Reverse-engineering, copying or distributing the app without permission.
- Abusing the server services, overloading them, or attempting to bypass their security.
- Producing unlawful, harmful content or content that infringes the rights of others.
4. Free version and ads
The free version may show ads. Some advanced features may be offered as premium. Purchases are managed through the App Store and are subject to Apple's rules.
5. Intellectual property
The Cliptic name, logo, design and software belong to us. Using the app grants you no ownership of these rights.
6. Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is". We do not guarantee it will run uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for data loss, lost profits or indirect damages. We recommend backing up your projects regularly.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is published on this page; continued use means you accept the current terms.
